Temple story : 400 years Ago
In 17th century A.D Tamil King Uthama Pandian before going to Kerala War - the War of Chera Nadu stayed at the
banks of Anuman River of Panagudi
 

He built this Temple at the Anuman River bank and prayed for the Success in the War.
After the success of the War he again came back to the Temple and thanked the Goddess.
