Accepting Credit Cards at your site
without hosting a Shopping cart site or costly Merchant account

You are from India or any part of world.
Now you want people to pay for your products at your site.
How can you get payments, quickly, easily?.

Use https://www.Paypal.com
=notice the "https" the 's' here denotes that paypal is a secure site.
You may also seen this in all other secure sites like https://icicibank.com etc.

Paypal processes the visitors credit card
[visa, MasterCard, discovery or amex]

It credits the processed amount into your paypal account on web,
you get an email from paypal to withdraw your money.

I use my cousin's England account to debit my money. My cousin sends me a city bank cheque online. It reaches me the next day by courier. I put the city bank cheque at icicibank, it takes another day to really see the money at my icici bank account.

so it is a 3 day affair for paypal.

But as soon you see the paypal money at your login of paypal,
you respond to your customer and give them your product, don't delay 3 days!

You can also use http://ccavenue.com or http://www.transactindia.com/ for india based cheap merchant accounts, but for a small business the paypal is still cheaper.
